Computer Maintenance
- Windows Update - download the automatic Windows Update notifier and a little icon in the bottom right icon tray will tell you there are security updates available for Windows.
- Adaware - run this once every 2 months to check for bad cookies and trojans.
- Antivirus - make sure your antivirus is set to do automatic updates. Run a full system scan every 2 months.
- Disk Defragmenter - run the defragmenter once every 2 months. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter.
- Disk Cleanup - if you are running out of disk space (have under 20% free space), run Disk Cleasnup to find ways to cleanup your disk.
